A Taste of Christmas Lunch

What better way to kick start your Christmas than with some inspirational ideas that will "wow" your family and friends over the festive period! There will also be an opportunity to purchase some perfect treats (for you!) or gifts for Christmas too.
Arrive from 9.30am for coffee and mince pies with time to browse the seasonal goodies, prior to three demonstrations guaranteed to fuel your creativity. The first demonstration will start at 10am and each one will last approximately 45 minutes.
Our Executive Chef, Marc Hardiman will be sharing his culinary skills and showing you how to put together some quick and easy canapés to impress your guests over the festive season. In addition he will be demonstrating how to make the perfect trifle...a real show stopper to finish off any meal. Recipes will be supplied and Marc will happily provide you with answers to all your Christmas catering dilemmas.
The second demonstration will be by our in-house florist, Rebecca from Lily's Flowers. The font of all things floral, Rebecca's enthusiasm and passion is infectious. This year she will be showing you how to decorate your front door in addition to other innovative ideas to make your home the envy of your guests this Christmas. As always she will take questions from the floor and there will be plenty of banter to keep you entertained.
Our third demonstration will be by Karen Taylor from Liberty Wines and Stephen Farrell, our Director of Wines. They will guide you through some delicious wines to accompany your Christmas lunch (with plenty of opportunity for tasting!)
Sarah from Molton Brown will be returning to present their tempting 2017 Christmas Gift Collection. Lily's Flowers will also have items available to purchase and Simone from My Boutique will be bringing along jewellery, accessories and clothing should you feel the need for some retail therapy! A new addition this year will be Monia and Charlotte of Le Cose Belle, offering a range of beautiful and unique Italian jewellery designed and made in Rome. As always there will also be some Great Fosters "goodies" available to buy.
A pre-lunch Christmas cocktail will be served at 12.45pm prior to a three course luncheon including wine at 1.15pm with Marc and Rebecca on hand to answer any queries or offer advice while you digest the morning's presentations.
Goats cheese mousse,
salt baked beetroot, port roasted fig, walnut granola and pickle
