Room Features

Originally the drawing room of the house, the Tapestry room is famed for the large early 17th century Flemish tapestries. The ceiling includes the Percy family crest and a carved stone mantelpiece, believed to date from 1600, depicts the story of Adam and Eve. In addition there is a masterful chimneypiece & elegant overmantle, displaying carvings of Ratio, Veritas and Victoria.  It has a large bathroom that features a free standing roll top bath, separate double shower and double wash hand basins.  There is a Bose sound system in the room.
