A Taste of Christmas Lunch

Tuesday, 26th November - FULLY BOOKED

What better way to kick start your Christmas than with some inspirational ideas that will “wow“ your family & friends over the festive period!  There will also be an opportunity to purchase some perfect treats (for yourself!) or gifts for Christmas.

Arrive from 10.30am for coffee and mince pies with time to browse the seasonal goodies, prior to two demonstrations guaranteed to fuel your creativity:-

Simon Bolsover, Executive Chef, will once again be sharing some tricks of the trade to impress your guests with over the festive season. This time he will be discussing the versatility of salmon and demonstrating how to cure your own gravadlax with garden ingredients as simply or daringly as you like. Simon will explain the history behind it and how to dress and serve your masterpiece. He will then move on to show you how to make your own smoker and smoke chicken and duck for a mouth watering main course. Recipe cards will be provided for you to take away.

The second demonstration will be by our in-house florist, Rebecca from Lily’s Flowers. The font of all knowledge on all things floral, Rebecca’s enthusiasm and passion is infectious. With ideas for the perfect Christmas table including napkin decorations and a fabulous winter foliage chandelier you will be the envy of your guests. Let your imagination run wild with beautiful ideas from choosing charger plates and festive linens to unique and pretty place settings.

'&vintage' will be back again with a selection of products, which includes some beautiful contemporary and vintage homewares and accessories.  There will be a range of products including handmade jewellery, stationery, bags, washbags, aprons and ceramics by up and coming designers.  In addition, many of you may remember Sarah from Molton Brown who came to our luncheon last November. Sarah will be presenting Molton Brown’s tempting Christmas 2013 Collection.

Mulled wine will precede a two course luncheon including a glass of wine with Simon and Rebecca on hand to answer any queries or offer advice whilst you digest the morning’s presentations.
