The Oak Room at Great Fosters |
Specialising in modern English cuisine using
the finest ingredients, the Oak Room at Great Fosters offers an inspired
menu of gourmet food. The hotel is equally popular with our resident guests
as well as those seeking a top restaurant and unique evenings out within
the Wentworth, Windsor, Hampton Court and Heathrow area.
Guests can relax with pre-dinner drinks in the Cocktail
Bar overlooking the Japanese bridge, beside the open fireplace in the
Main Hall, or on either of the Terraces in warmer weather. An impressive
selection of vintage wines is also available to accompany the fine dining.
Simon Bolsover joined Great Fosters in Februaryas Head Chef. Simon was previously at Linthwaite House Hotel, Windermere where he was awarded a third rosette for their fine dining restaurant. His progressive career has led him to Muskoka in Canada, the exclusive Cambridge Beaches in Bermuda and, closer to home, Hartwell House, Ston Easton Park and Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons. His strengths lie in building a strong loyal team (and in fact four of his colleagues have already followed him to Great Fosters!) and working closely with local suppliers to take full advantage of all local and seasonal produce.
Simon’s aspirations for his future at Great Fosters are to improve on the quality and consistency and to gain a third rosette for the highly acclaimed Oak Room.

The Oak Room is an intimate dining room that can cater for up to 12 guests
on any one table. The Oak Room itself is a charming room. It has recently
been beautifully converted into a spacious and elegant restaurant infused
with character. Graceful, exposed oak beams complement its refined, modern
décor, and large windows illuminate the room with natural daylight.
Although we do not have a strict dress code we reserve
the right to turn away clients that we consider to be inappropriately
dressed.
