This distinguished yet welcoming room is famed for its wonderful ceiling displaying Percy Badges, a masterful chimneypiece and an enchanting carved stone mantelpiece depicting the story of Adam and Eve and believed to date to 1600. The elegant wooden overmantel displays carvings of Ratio, Veritas and Victoria, while either side of the grand fireplace, and opposite, the walls are adorned with early 17th century Flemish tapestries. The bathroom features a traditional Victorian roll top bath and a double shower.
