Bedrooms
All the suites and bedrooms at Great Fosters
are individually decorated, some with four-poster beds, Persian rugs, gilt
furnishings and damask walls, many with tapestries, antiques and artefacts
dating back hundreds of years. Guests are accommodated in three separate
buildings. The Main House, which dates from 1550, offers a choice of historic
suites and bedrooms. The Cloisters, which is reached across a courtyard,
offers contemporary suites and double rooms which were refurbished in May
2001. In addition The Coach House provides more basic accommodation in
a choice of double and single rooms.

Historic Bedrooms and Suites
This collection of rooms has been individually decorated to add to the
elegance of the hotel. Whether it’s ornate Italian furniture,
sixteenth century tapestries or a luxurious four-poster bed, these
spacious rooms and suites complement the grandeur of the house. |

Premier Executive
and Executive Double Rooms
These bedrooms are in keeping with the theme of the main house, yet
have a contemporary décor and modern amenities. Some have flat
screen
televisions, in room safes and an IPOD docking station. All rooms have king-size
beds, a work desk, easy chairs for relaxing and are located in the Main House.
Some bathrooms have been furnished with black granite, shimmer tiles and illuminated
shaving mirrors whilst others are furnished in a New England style. |

Superior and Double Rooms
Some rooms offer a breathtaking view of the topiary garden and Japanese
bridge whilst others overlook the front of the hotel. Each is uniquely
decorated and has a work desk and easy chair. All rooms have 5ft double
beds. |

The Cloisters
The Cloisters are reached via a short walk across the courtyard and are
an elegant collection of suites and double rooms overlooking an intimate
garden. They offer excellent facilities and combine the charming historical features of the Main House with contemporary décor. |
