We are enormously grateful for everything that you did to help make the day go smoothly – helping to dress Gemma was definitely beyond the call of duty, but actually made the connection with Great Fosters rather special for us. You are all incredibly efficient and obliging. So many people have commented on how wonderful everything was and also on how fabulous the meal was. Also, there was a lovely girl on duty on the Saturday afternoon when, I’m afraid, we were causing a little bit of mayhem in the entrance area round the fire and ordering about 12 cups of tea and coffee at different times. She was so chatty and friendly and then we saw her again on the Sunday when you were taking us through from the Cloisters to the upstairs corridor for the photos. We wanted to say how happy we were that we choose to marry at Great Fosters. We had an amazing day, everything went to plan and the room looked beautiful. All of our guests were impressed with the food and how efficient and helpful the staff were and just how quickly they were able to turn the room around. David was a real star, and did everything he could to make sure we were happy, including running to get the flowers I forgot and giving me slippers towards the end of the night as he thought my feet would be sore. He is a real professional. He guided us through the day and made sure our timings didn't go astray. And he didn't stop smiling - he's a real gent. We would like to say a huge thank you to you, David, and the team at Great Fosters for the amazing job you did for our wedding on the 13th. Nothing was too much trouble and I think both of us felt that we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day! We had such a wonderful time and all of our guests enjoyed it so much, and also commented on the great service. We were also impressed how, even though the team must do weddings all the time, they still treated us in a way that made the day feel so special, as they took so much care.
