Environmental Policy

Great Fosters is fully committed to providing superior quality and value within its products, services and facilities. We take the issues of environmental preservation and conservation very seriously.

The following positive practices and actions are in place to ensure that our impact on the environment throughout our operation is kept to a minimum.

• We are committed to recycling and reusing any packaging, papers, glasses, plastics and materials wherever possible, working within strict guidelines for disposal of food waste, chemical waste and the separation of all waste materials that are taken for refuge.
• We recognise the advantages to our business of working as a “Green” company and see opportunity to save money and to grow our business efficiently through a positive attitude to environmental sustainability.
• We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that all of our products and services, from linen to food and beverage, have been produced with the care and commitment to the environment that our guests would expect.
• We actively encourage our staff to be accountable for their actions both in and out of work, to be mindful of the environment and the steps they can take help reduce any needless waste and make a positive impact to the area around them.

We continually strive for way to improve our efficiency on the use of power and fuels to limit pollution and carbon outputs.
