Spring into Easter Lunch

Arrive from 10.30am for coffee and Easter biscuits prior to two inspiring demonstrations guaranteed to put a spring in your step. The first presentation by Makiko Searle will begin at 11am.
Maki is one of the UK’s leading names in wedding cake design and published her first book, “Cakes to Fall in Love With” last summer. Born in Japan, Maki began her career as a pastry chef in Tokyo before moving to England to study sugar craft and develop her passion for “food art”. Maki now runs her own cake design company based in Chertsey and her work is regularly featured in the UK’s top bridal publications.
The second presentation will be hosted by Rebecca of Lily’s Flowers, our in-house florist who will be demonstrating a seasonal display to grace your home at Easter in addition to sharing some of her top tips. Rebecca provides all our floral arrangements throughout the hotel and her imagination and enthusiasm for all things floral is infectious.
Following pre-lunch drinks, a two course lunch with a glass of wine will be served. Maki and Rebecca will be joining us for luncheon to answer any queries you may have following their creative demonstrations.
Maki will be signing copies of her book and there will be an opportunity to purchase some gorgeous seasonal arrangements from Lily’s.
