Kumeu River Wine Dinner

Friday, 16th March

With a history of well over half a century, the vineyards of Kumeu River are reflective of the hard work and commitment of three generations of the Brajkovich family.

Despite being situated well north of New Zealand's other viticultural regions, Kumeu's climate is kept cool thanks to its close proximity to the Tasman Sea, 20km to the west and the Pacific Ocean 30km to the east. These seas help to keep the Summer temperatures below 30°c, which enhances the fantastic aromas and flavours from early ripening Chardonnays.

The 2008 Kumeu River Estate Chardonnay has been named in Wine Spectator's Top 100 wines in 2011 (the 7th time it has featured in the top 100).

Join us for a evening with Paul Brajkovich and Charlie Bennett of Bennetts Wines who has been importing Kumeu River wines for 21 vintages. It promises to be an enlightening and fascinating evening with a menu and accompanying wines to write home about!
