Horticulture & Heritage Lunches

Russell Dixon, our Head Gardener will take you on a tour of our 50 acres of formal gardens and parkland followed by a delicious luncheon (hopefully on the terrace!).
Russell has worked at the hotel for over 20 years and his enthusiasm and passion for Great Fosters is infectious. His knowledge is vast and he has greatly enjoyed seeing his horticultural projects over the years come to fruition. Some of the plants and trees that he planted at the beginning of his time here are only just beginning to mature.
Arrive for coffee and biscuits from 10.30am followed by a one hour tour of the gardens at 11am. A glass of Champagne will be served at midday followed by lunch in The Estate Grill at 12.30pm. The tour will go ahead regardless of the weather so bring an umbrella!

Price includes tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival, a pre-lunch glass of Champagne, two course lunch with coffee and petits fours and a glass of wine with lunch.
