A Taste of Christmas Lunch

What better way to kick start your Christmas than with some inspirational ideas that will “wow“ your family & friends over the festive period!  There will also be an opportunity to purchase some perfect treats (for yourself!) or gifts for Christmas.  

Arrive from 10.30am for coffee and mince pies with time to browse the seasonal goodies, prior to two demonstrations guaranteed to fuel your creativity:-

Our Chef, Simon Bolsover will be sharing some of his festive secrets and showing you how to make some delicious Christmas accompaniments worthy of his 3 rosettes.  Simon, who joined Great Fosters in 2008, has a passion for seasonality and traceability and has recently introduced the hotel to the joys of bee keeping, sheep and pig farming!  

The second presentation will be hosted by Rebecca of Lily’s Flowers.  Rebecca is our in-house florist and will demonstrate an innovative way to display your Christmas cards and show you how to create a spectacular (but simple!) Christmas table centre.  Rebecca provides all our floral arrangements throughout the hotel and her imagination and enthusiasm for all things floral is infectious.     

Elle from '&vintage' will be bringing along a selection of products, which includes some beautiful contemporary and vintage homewares and accessories.  There will be a range of products including handmade jewellery, stationery, bags, washbags, aprons and ceramics by up and coming designers.  In addition, many of you may remember Sarah from Molton Brown who came to our luncheon last November. Sarah will be presenting Molton Brown’s tempting Christmas 2012 Collection.    

Mulled wine will precede a two course luncheon including a glass of wine with Simon and Rebecca on hand to answer any queries or offer advice whilst you digest the morning’s presentations.

£32.50 per person for VIP Club card holders and their guests
