A Taste of Christmas Lunch
Wednesday, 26th November 2014
What better way to kick start your Christmas than with some inspirational ideas that will “wow“ your family & friends over the festive period! There will also be an opportunity to purchase some perfect treats (for yourself!) or gifts for Christmas too.
Arrive from 10.30am for coffee and mince pies with time to browse the seasonal goodies, prior to two demonstrations guaranteed to fuel your creativity:-
Flo Boughton from Choc on Choc will be entertaining you with tales of how she and her father, Kerr, somehow devised a business idea having been messing about making chocolate shapes in rubber moulds as gifts for their family. Ten years later Choc on Choc has become a firm fixture in a number of UK retailers including John Lewis, Selfridges and Waitrose and their unique creations are stocked as far afield as the USA, Japan and Australia. Kerr is an accomplished inventor and still makes the chocolate moulds while Flo runs the business. Despite the fact they are producing over 63,000 chocolates a week they are still all made by hand! Flo will demonstrate their patented technique of layering chocolate on top of chocolate and show how their beautiful and creative designs take shape.
The second demonstration will be by our in-house florist, Rebecca from Lily’s Flowers. The font of all knowledge on all things floral, Rebecca’s enthusiasm and passion is infectious. With suggestions on how to decorate your fireplace ready for the festive season, Rebecca will also share other innovative ideas to make your home the envy of your guests this Christmas. As always she will take questions from the floor and there will be plenty of banter to keep you entertained!
Sarah from Molton Brown who has attended our previous luncheons will be back again to present Molton Brown’s tempting Christmas Collection for 2014. Liliy's Flowers will also have items available to purchase and Choc on Choc will be offering "on the day" discounts for their range should you feel the need for some retail therapy!
Mulled wine will precede a three course luncheon including a glass of wine with Flo and Rebecca on hand to answer any queries or offer advice whilst you digest the morning’s presentations.
